How to remove spinning flush rivets?
I have a dash that's riveted to a dash frame with rivets that are smooth/flush on one side. On the other side where you would drill the rivets out, the dash comes out/up, so that I can't get a grip with pliers or anything to stop the rivet from spinning so I can drill it out. Is there a tool or some way to hold these rivets so I can drill them out?

I use a dremel tools with either a small cutoff wheel or carbide bit. It spins fast enough to compensate for the rivet spinning a bit when your cutting. In other words your not going to spin the rivet 5000 to 10,000 rpm like the bit will spin. Takes about 5 seconds to cut them off.

I would have never thought of that. I have a Dremel sitting around, I'll check it out. Thanks!
