How to run my front brake lines?

This banjo fitting is not letting me route my lines like I would like to. Anyone got pics of how you ran yours? Seems like it will put lots of stress on the line where it goes in to the banjo. I have through the frame fittings.

Yeah you don't want it pulling tight anywhere.

I'd run it straight down (or nearly so), then curve alongside the lower control arm (a couple inches up from it) then s-curve up to the frame fitting so that it can flex in tandem with the arm and twist with the spindle. Assuming the length and frame fitting work with that.

Brake line routing seems like a simple thing but can take hours and hours.

Not sure about being metric? It was on the car when I got it.

You don't have to run a banjo fitting. You need an adapter - straight to either pipe or -an(or whatever the caliper threads are. Here are photos of various combos:

You will need to search for the correct -an fitting for your application.

This is kinda out of focus, but my original intent was to show the DOT approval for the braided flex lines and shows an adapter on one end and through frame fittings on the other:
