How to set-up 600 cfm edelbrock's on a 2x4

Recently purchased a Weiand 2x4 manifold for a sbc. Has anyone used Carter or Edelbrock 600 cfm with any luck? If so what jetting did you use ? The engine is a 350 with 202 heads, dished pistons,Crane 100172 cam,Accel . I already have the carbs, they fit good, don't want to spent $500.00 on 500 cfm's. Thank you

Just put it together and run it. After a few miles look at color of the plugs.
At least it is a starting point.

SBC 2x4's

I have a 28 Ford coupe w/ 2 600 CFM Edelbrock carbs on it. I haven't had to fool with the jetting. Being that they are vacuum secondaries they only open up as needed. What I have done is turn in the idle mixture screws all the way and back off on the idle screw of the front carb. What this does is that the engine only idles on the back carb. Make sure you use progressive linkage.

Being that I have 3.55's in the back and a 4 speed the car runs like a mad maniac. I am extremely happy.

Have fun - Jerry

P.S. the SBC is a .060 283
