how to steer about it.

33 chevy coupe, origanal frame, frt leaf springs, no steering box. cant afford to spend $1000 on a frt end, any alternatives?

Get a few hot rod shops, they will have different set-ups for your twin -leaf set-up.You have to be careful what you get because setting up a chevy front sus; is harder than a ford----and get it right.Prer sonally i would get a ford front cross member,and some super bell stuff and do it.You may not find a good workable situation , for you chevy.Spend the money if you like the car! hth

You might look at an older Ford van straight front axle. I am not sure what year they went to the twin I beam in the vans, but the pickups switched in '65 if I'm not mistaken.

The above ideas are pretty old by now. Anything you do, with this might not be the safest way to go, far as stock set-up. Unless rebuilt...and you won't find many of the right stock parts.should you decide to go this way. hth
