How to Straighten Seams Prior to Welding?

The front wings on my car need replacing

I've removed the old ones, and have clamped the new ones in place

The wings are held to the bonnet by plug welds - there's an internal lip where the two panels meet

The lip on the bonnet is rippled and needs straightening before I can weld the two panels together

What would be the best way to straighten this lip?
