After browsing trhough the classifieds section I woud like the provide the following suggestions in order that hotroadders will be able to take better pictures of their hot rods, parts or any thing they would like to sell.

1- Take the pictures of your car body using a camera with flash outside on the sun or in shade. If you don't have a camera with flash turn the car around for ea. side of the car you want to show on the picture so that the sun is behind your shoulders and shinning on the car. Never take the picture with the sun facing you.

2-When taking pictures of car interiors use flash and open both doors so that more light will shine on the car interior.

3- For photos of the engine use flash and get close.

4-Fill the frame of the camera with the car body until you see the two bumpers toching the edge of your camera viewfinder, then take one step back and take the picture.
5- Get close, get close and get close to your subject. You will get better pictures. The people want to see your car not your home, garage or garden.

6- Look at car callendar pictures and compare with yours the cars on those pictures were photographed with a camera with a flash on it. You will sell your car or parts faster this way.

Hope this help.
Best,
Don

You are 200% right on that one cell phones and point and shoot cameras with less than 5 megapixels wont cut it. You need a decent camera with either build in flash or an external flash placed on the camera hot shoe. If you don't have one barrow one or ask a friend to take the pictures for you.
Best,
Don
