How thick of filler?
I was wondering is there a limit of thickness on fillers? I stripped my trans am and on the quarter by the door it was crushed pretty bad, they had probably an inch thick of bondo in some spots. I'd rather see if I can cut it out and replace it but if not, would I be able to get some really good long hair, like evercoat or that filler with aluminum in it and basically reshape the panel with bondo?

You're probably going to get answers ranging from none to 1/4".
1" is way, way too much. Time to learn hammer and dolly work. Time to learn shrinking skills. IMHO, try to get to the point where you have 1/16" to 1/8".

I'll have to try that although the panel is really fooked up. Is there a certain dolly to get? I'm not familiar with dollies. I have a general idea what they are and how to use them but not for specialty work.

I bought a set of dollies and hammers from jegs, And they work pretty good. Some parts stores have them also. Cole

The less the better, should never be more than 1/4", I prefer to keep it no thicker than 1/8".
