how to wire up

got a hydraulic pump and motor off ebay
12 - 24 volt motor
can anyone tell me how to wire up ?
here's photo of it the two lugs are insulated from housing
is the body of unit the ground and the lugs ?

probably one post is for 12 volts ,the other for 24 volts , case is ground............but as red says check with mfgr. to find out for sure.
