How to wire up a points triggered HEI module
I have a 1975 ford bronco with a points distributor, I want to set it up so the points trigger a HEI module. I've read about people doing this before but I did a search and can't find anything. How does the wiring go? does the dwell / point gap matter anymore?

I did some research and it turns out that with points it is better to use a ford TFI module, because the points put out a square wave signal.

www.davessmallbodyheis.com is the way to go for that.
He can do a points style dist. conversion for you to either use an MSD/Crane box, or add a GM HEI module to run as a standalone (small body)HEI. You can find him at www.buickthunder.com as IgnitionMan. |
