Howdy yall
hey every body, my name is Russell. I live in North Carolina and am a huge fan of muscle and classic cars. I am only 15 so i will prolly be resorting to yalls help on a few questions concerning my car once i get to restoring it fully. I am pretty cool kid according to most people i meet. I know more than the average kid my age does about cars and racing. i have been helping out various race teams at the local dirt track the last few years trying to gain experience working on the cars and stuff. Right now i have a 1979 Chevy Camaro that i just bought. when i first looked at the car i thought it looked like it was in pretty good condition...well now that im getting into fixing things that are nessicary for it to run and be safe, there a few things i am worrieing about, but ill explain more about that later. my dad and i are also looking at a 1966 plymouth fury 2-door that has been sitting since 1996. i dont know much about the car, but the things i do know are that the body is in very good condition for a car that has not had much work. i dont think there is any bondo anywhere on it. and i also know that it has the stock engine. maybe yall can help me out with this...i cant find the owners manual for it and ive looked and looked online and cant figure it out. does anyone know what the engine options for 1966 were on the fury? i know that it is prolly the biggest stock motor i have ever seen. the interior is also in pretty good shape. it has bench seats in both the front and back. the only things wrong with it that i can see clearly without tearing it apart are, the ignition has been removed and a flip switch has been put in its place, and the head liner has been cut out so it is bare metal above your head when you sit in the car.
well i think ive told enough about myself and my project and soon to be project. if yall have any questions about me or my car, feel free to ask.
thanks,
Russell
