
Sorry to be so long in responding, newmoparfan! I got sidetracked a bit and after my computer crashed a while back, I couldn't find my way back to this thread. Just stumbled over it today doing a web search and realized you had posted.
Yes, my '57 Chevy is a Canadian built car and it is bone stock thus far. It has the original 235 inline 6 engine and 3-speed column shift tranny. Its really hard to bring myself to make any changes to this car, but I have some V8 stuff left over from a few projects many moons ago and I am strongly considering building a small block for it and installing a T-56 tranny to back it up. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, as they say.
327s are good engines. I built up several of them back in the late '60s and early 70s for my '55 Chevy business coupes. How is the engine in your truck set up?
Do you also have a MOPAR? Great cars and trucks as well.
