Howdy Y'all!
Howdy Y'all!
Just found this Bulletin Board while doing some research on the net and thought I'd log in and say "Howdy"! I will be doing some performance upgrades to my '57 Chevy over the next couple years (its stock right now) and may have a few questions from time to time if I can't find the answers by searching the archives. I have built a few cars many years ago, but have been away from hotrodding now for over 20 years and so I have some catching up to do. I will greatly appreciate any help or info that any of you here can provide when I run into something that I haven't dealt with before. Many thanks, Harry

Sorry to be so long in responding, newmoparfan! I got sidetracked a bit and after my computer crashed a while back, I couldn't find my way back to this thread. Just stumbled over it today doing a web search and realized you had posted. Yes, my '57 Chevy is a Canadian built car and it is bone stock thus far. It has the original 235 inline 6 engine and 3-speed column shift tranny. Its really hard to bring myself to make any changes to this car, but I have some V8 stuff left over from a few projects many moons ago and I am strongly considering building a small block for it and installing a T-56 tranny to back it up. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, as they say. 327s are good engines. I built up several of them back in the late '60s and early 70s for my '55 Chevy business coupes. How is the engine in your truck set up? Do you also have a MOPAR? Great cars and trucks as well. Happy Motoring, Harry
