is it just me or has hr.com realy calmed down? it seems theres not as much posts, not alot of threads. Why? to me it died down after the fourth o' july.

any one else feel that way?

its always this way in the summer, people go on vacation, or out crusin.

everyones more active in the summer so the activity slows down. it will pick up again in the fall when it starts to get colder.

You have to realize that during the summer it is show season...which triggers a whooooooole string of events,such as
1) Going to shows
2)Being motivated from going to shows
3)Working on rides from being motivated from going to shows
4)Taking ride to show after working on ride from being motivated from going to shows
5) Weather is nice outside(which goes hand in hand with #1) so more people are on vacation(possibly taking in a show)
6)Working on/around the house
7)Working more at work(blech!)
8)Just too damn lazy to do anything after during 1-7
OR
9) Some people are actually working on their ride instead of being coop'd up in the house.....who knows?!

Don't worry as soon as the seasons change(October or so) everyone migrates back to the house and parks it in front of the 'puter.

Its funny that you say that HR.com has slowed down though...because when the weather was crappy outside/cold/snowy/etc I was tearin' *** around the garage working on my truck....as soon as it gets nice out....haven't hardly worked on it at all for about the last month or so. I have been working on my house doing some remodeling projects, but here in the next week or so.....I am going to be hitting it hard and heavy, I would like to at least drive it once or twice this summer before the snow flys...It may not have windows or an interior...but I'll be driving it

if i could afford to do anything auto related i'd be doing it. as it is, i just have the money to sit around and beach about it.

At this time of year I get on here when I'm tired or to escape the heat. Mostly I like to be outside when it's nice out. I hate being cooped up and cold all winter.
