HR.Com's Virtual 4th of July Parade

With the 4th coming up and hometown parades with lots of antiques, collectors, hot rods and street cars showing their stuff, I got to thinking...why not have a virtual July 4th parade for all HR.Com members. The nice thing about THIS parade is, even if your car is not running yet, you can still drive it down Jon Avenue...and let the rest of us have a look at your current progress.

Just post a response to this thread with a recent pic of your car (and if you want to add a short description that would be even better) and hopefully we can create a long line of posts for our first annual virtual parade.

I'll get it started off with a shot of my '32 pickup and '32 roadster.

Well, all I really have are pics of parts waiting on more parts that are waiting on me to put them all together again.

Here the old boy sits waiting for an engine.

Slapper bars and subframe connectors installed. That's a 275/50 tire, I've got room for 295/50's and that's what it'll get when I burn these up.

Front subframe connection with my pretty welding to stiffen the joint.

New Dart 215s ported and polished by self.

New pistons, supposedly lightweight, 580grams ain't light but they were half the cost of the Mahle pistons I really wanted to use.

Various goodies. Holley 750, Performer RPM intake, New fuel line, Richmond installation kit, Superior axles, and all my new rear brake parts.

Another project slowing the car construction down. '89 Yamaha TZ 250 under construction.

Some might say that this is the reason I get very little done. I disagree.

I stuck a few more pics in my HR photo album if y'all want to look.

Larry

I haven't been here in a while, so here is the old truck. Still haven't outlined the flames, don't know if I will, seems like everyone likes it the way it is.
