Wanna sell your car online but don't have photoshop to edit out the license number?
Get a "Blonde" friend to help you out with the photos.
However, when absolutely necessary, you could use scotch tape.

I tried a couple of those in the shop bathroom. The sink worked OK but the toilet was another story.
