Hunting History
I'm trying to track down the roots of a street rod I purchased last year. It was built in the mid-50s. 32 five-window, channeled about four inches, not chopped. Chopped grille, though. Runs a 331 hemi, three-speed. 48 Merc dash. I think it came out of eastern PA - NJ area. Has a York Dragway class winner sticker on side window. Looks to be close to Marina Blue (Chevy), but I suspect that was a sixties repaint. Runs two-fours. Six-volt, positive ground electrics.
If you want a photo, shoot me your email and I'll fire one off to you. Any help appreciated. Rick |

Post a picture in this thread. Everyone likes to look at pictures. Perhaps that will help get their interest. Or perhaps start a new thread using the phrase "does anybody know this old hot rod?" and post a pictue in it.

If someone can give me some guidance in including a photo, I'd be glad to do so. I gave it two shots to no avail.

Hunting History
Thanks Rick for sending Kevin the pics and thanks Kevin for posting them. That is a great 32. When was it originally built, late 50's, early 60's? You don't see to many 32's channeled with fenders being built these days. Are those Model A fenders? Give us some info on that hemi. In fact how about telling us all about the car and then we will ask questions. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I told you is about all I know. Engine appears stock, 'cept the two Carters. I forget the name on the manifold, but it's a now-forgotten name. (I'll get back with that.) The car is about an hour from my office, so I can't check right now. Sure would like to find out who originally built it. And, yes, those are "A" fenders.

I've been checking out my 60's magazines but haven't found any pics of it yet.
