when does hunting season start there? here its october 1st. i think it too early to go out and sit, and wake up that early.

its hunting season year around for me. we have some nice fat porkers that need killin' on our land. (north texas)

Deer season has been opened up in SC to cut down on wrecks. I do not hunt, but love that Bambi on a bun

Did screw around with a bear trap once and that scared the crap out of me. God does look out for fools, ya know!

i'm with loserdude.... i'm too old to be getting up at 4 am to go sit in a tree waiting for bambi..... i do what akm does. i go to the forest, kill me a hog or two and put some meat in the deep freezer. if it happens to be hunting season, i do the bubba thing, sit on a power line clearing in the forest in the evening, and wait..... last season, i was at the parts store, a buddy i hunted with in the past was working there, he asked me if i wanted a deer, as he was going hunting in the morning, i said "sure."
he was at the door at 830 the next morning with one field dressed ........ thats my kind of hunting......

Larry, dude, if I'M not too old, then YOUR not too old.....
hunting season here in the Great White North doesn't begin until early October, but we don't hunt anymore, no place to keep the kids.
