Hurricane Rita!!!

Well it looks like another Hurricane is going to hit the USA. This one will most likely hit Texas. Houston could get it bad, and a lot of SE Texas. NO hotels for 600 miles. People getting scared. My wife, Joyce, stopped at the Brenham super walmart, and people were buying out water, battries, and a lot of stuff. When she goes to work tommrow she will see how it is in Bryan-College Station TX.

Most of Galveston and Galvestion County will be under manadotory evecation Wendesday. I hope all our Houston area folks are at least getting ready to get the hell out of dodge.

I will be watching closely. I have to take the M-I-L to the Doctor in the morning and we will go from there. We should get Hurricane force winds here and farther north too, Past College Station too

Tommrow I will get stuff put up, cleaned up and locked up at least.

SE TEXAS people be carefull.

Richard.

I live about 50 miles NW of Ft Worth and locally they're saying that if it makes landfall as a cat 4, it'll still be a cat 1 by the time it makes it up here. We need the rain but I'm not looking forward to the winds,,,,,

Glad to hear you're making preparations, hope everyone else does the same!!

Good luck cruise, I wish ya'll the best dude. Depending on how this thing turns out, it may even hit all the way up here in Wichita But I think our main worry from it would be the tornado's that might spawn off of it.
Good luck guys.

go cat 5!!!

Good Lord. We're 150 miles from the coast, and people are freaking out. the hellmart is out of everything you can think of, people are evacuating and there is more traffic on the roads than I've ever seen. plywood is selling for 40 bucks a sheet, gas is around 2.70 tonight, i'm gassing up in the morning, will see how much it's gone up overnight. wife heard people talking about how we were going to lose power when the 'cane hits... etc etc etc.... good Lord. prayers to ya'll closer to it.

sure glad we live on top of a hill. i think....
