Hurst 4-Speed Shifter Question

Does anyone know if a Hurst 4-Speed Supershifter--with reverse lockout--purchased brand new in 1985 with the following patent numbers on the side;
3216274, 3306126 and additional numbers 0043 and 4910002C will bolt to a Super T-10 transmission?

Any and all responces are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
RJD

As I recall those were a universal fit deal that bolted to the trans using the bolts that hold the tailshaft on. Should work..

takes a bit of fiddling to get one mounted and adjusted but well worth it..i take it the one you have is NIB..

shifter

The shifter will work, you may need to get a different adapter plate that the shifter bolts to. It all depends on what plate the shifter has with it now. Can you post a picture???

Also if you have the rods they may be be ok,if not when you buy them order them for the T-10.

The part number on the mounting plate is 1950037. I have attached a couple of pictures also. I bought this back in '85 for my '68 camaro. At the time it had a saginaw transmission in it but I was going to put a M21 in it. I had just bought the car. It was in grey primer with a freshly rebuit 327. I was going to paint the car Lincoln Silver Blue Metallic when I came back from boot camp. Anyway, that never happened. I went into the Navy 5 months later.During the time as was in boot camp my brother managed to get the car started and unfortunately took the car out on the road an totaled it. I salvaged everything I could, the shifter was one of the things, my brother was one of the others. Anyway, the shifter has been in a box for years, and I am selling it on ebay as we speak. I have an El Camino now that is running an automatic so I have no need for the 4-speed shifter.

Thanks for the help,
Rob
