I use 90/100 psi at the wall and set my gun at about 30 psi at the handle which gives me roughly what I need at the tip. tape some masking paper to the wall and shoot some samples to see how well the gun is set up..I work to eliminate orange peel first and then work on the runs as are mostly gun technique and believe it runs are easier to fix even if I need to wash off a fender and have a do-over..

Here is an excellent writeup on gun adjustment..

i dont see it on any of the guns. but in the manual it says recommended air pressure 29-51 psi (2.0-3.5 bar) and max air is 120psi (8.3bar).. does that help at all for you? now this is my clear gun with a 1.4 tip then i have the 1.8 gun and the 1.0 gun.

also how do i know the nozzle pressure when the last gauge is at the handle? and what should be the pressure at the handle?

thank you so much
barry
