HVLP Spray Guns?
To those of you that have used it, how good is the Devilbiss 670 plus spray gun? It will be used for a two stage paint, base-clear.

It is a great gun. I don't think you can get better for the money. It is not a HVLP gun, It is considered a compliant gun...I have a Sharpe T1 compliant and I really like how it shoots clear.... I say go for the Plus. GlennK

Excellent Gun for the Money.

If overspray and fog is a concern i.e "Painting in a non booth" then the
Iwata LPH400-144LV would be a far better choice.

For good atomization with the Plus gun your looking at 33 - 40 psi with the trigger pulled for a full fan.

The Iwata will produce a bigger fan at 16 - 20 psi Trigger pulled.

This car was shot with the Plus Gun.

What B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where in the @#%& do you get this stuff????

You can get a HVLP gravity feed or siphon feed, and
you can get a conventional gun in gravity feed.
Wether it's GRAVITY feed or not has nothing to do with wether
it's "High Volume Low Pressure" or "conventional"
The HVLP's are compliant because they are 10 PSI at the tip,
that's the difference.
It has nothing to do with "gravity feed"
