Hybrid Performance: Toyota's Latest Camry Hybrid
I was reading Motor Trend's "First Test: 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE", and they say:
"Going from 0-60 mph takes 7.2 seconds, a half-second quicker than the 2007 model. The quarter mile is completed faster (15.5 seconds at 91.5 mph versus 15.9 at 89.1)..." I say, performance-wise, that's not bad. not that the buyers are interested in blazing quarter-mile times anyway. I thought they would be way slower. Must be nice to have some scoot and good gas mileage.
