hydaho in Idaho

I have a Chevy 502 3/4 ton Avalanche 4x4 & I'm trying to improve the gas mileage.

I noticed this "Condensator" ad in this morning's Lewiston, Idaho newspaper. It says it improve fuel cost by about 40%. Has anyone tried one of these things out?

I posted this just trying to find some background on the condensator - I did - right here in some old postings! Appears to be answered already!

Thanks again - I'll be BACK!

improve Gas milage on a 502?

I really thinkall of those fuel milage improvers are all a bunch of snake oil.If they really worked, as in giving you great milage and not affect performance wouldn't the big three have used them to sell more vehicals????onething you can do to improve milage with a 502 is install the aftermarket o2 sensors and make sure the fuel mixture is spot on and that the timeing is spot on and keep that right foot outta the back 2 barrels.
LOL. Good luck with that tell us how it turns out.Brian

Condensator, does it work?

Looked at 'em here in Coeur d'alene about a year ago, and they do trap a lot of crap (condensation, etc) which to my way of thinking( warped as it is) should make youre engine last longer. The shop that was providing installation had a long line of folks waiting to get in.NAPA handles them and told me the State had bought a bunch for their fleet. Mileage increase? Dont know.
