Hydraboost brakes releasing slowly at drag strip??

My 84 Regal has factory hydraboost brakes on it and they work great.... Except at the drag strip. The harder I'm on the brakes at the line, the slower it seems to leave. Also the car seems to react so slowly off the line that I have to adjust my driving to cut good lights. The pedal returns at a decent speed, but nothing compared to my Vega(manual brakes). Is there any way to make them release faster? Brakes work great otherwise. The car is running 12.6@108 and it feels like a slug off the line with 1.88 60 foots. With slicks, a 4000 stall and 4.10 gears I think this is unacceptable. If the car is just sitting in gear and I mash the gas it feels much quicker than if I'm doing a staged launch. I put the hydraboost on by ordering factory stuff for a diesel regal. Anybody have experience with this? I'm sure a transbrake would solve this, but I'm running a 700r4.

May be a problem in the Hydroboost or return line to reservoir.

THIS thread deals w/an F-body, but no difference for the most part between the bodys.

Post #14 mentions the fitting used to run dual return lines- this will quicken the release.
