hydralic clutch

i have built a 48 f-1 ford truck with a small block chevt and a t-5 trans out of a 3rd gen camaro. it works great, except i cannot get the clearance ( 1/8 to 3/16) clearance between the presure plate and throw out bearing. any ideas?

Wrong bell housing? Wrong pressure plate? Wrong clutch fork? Wrong throwout bearing? Wrong pivot ball in the bell housing? Not enough travel in the slave and/or master cylinder?
