Hydraulic Brakes for vintage chevy

Can some one inform me about how to put 1950's sprindles and later backing plates on my 1932 chevy front axle.
What need to be done and what years work

spindle swap

I have done it, the thing to check is king pin size dia and length. and king pin angle I had a shop press in new bushings for king pins and size them to fit. if the wheel camber angle is wrong alignment shops that do trucks have tools to bend the axle. It's best to find spindles that match to old angle.

kspindle swap

I did an AMC swap to a ford.. a magazine said it was easy. amc spindle stubs have 4 bolts, I cut off the ford stub in a lathe and redrilled the ford 4 holes than make a filler plate because i didn.t like the way it looked ... a lot harder than the magazine said ... I saw the Amc disc brakes and a 20's dodge at a show it looked easier than mine try at it.
