Hydraulic Clutch Question
I'm setting up a hydraulic clutch on a 327 Chevy with Muncie. This is a retrofit into a 62 Studebaker. Stock type diaphram clutch, and have a question. I'm using a Novak hydraulic slave kit which has a total of 2.1" stroke. The master is a Wilwood compact with 1.4" stroke, so I am going to get a maximum of 1.4" stroke at the slave because they are both 3/4" bore and Novak tells me I will get 1 to 1 ratio. I know that there is also a ratio on the clutch fork that comes into play, but I don't know for sure what it is. I got the stock style Chevy fork with the kit from Novak. Will this be enough to disengage the clutch?
