HYDRAULIC LIFTERS or HYDRAULIC ROLLER LIFTERS?
Hi Guys
I bought a Melling MTF-1 camshaft. Along with that I bought Hydraulic Lifters to go along with this Cam. MY QUESTION IS: Are the Hydaurlic lifters compatible with my camshaft  I'm a newbie at re-building my 289 engine. So please replie if you will in a simple way in order that I may follow your suggestions. THANK YOU GUYS GOD BLESS Schooner

The cam is a hydraulic flat tappet cam so the lifters are NOT rollers. The matching Melling number is JB-900
