I Cant Get In My Car
ok i just put in a Big Switch battery disconnect but i forgot that the remote door poppers that i use run off the power from my car and since i disconnected the battery i cant open my doors can someone please help me
I dont want to break anything and my battery is in the trunk and my car is a 88 camaro

Let me try to get a better picture of this. Do you have shaved door handles or door locks? And is the door locked with the keys in it or is the battery disconnect switch off therefor you can't unlock and open the door? And you have door lock and handle inside and outside the car right?

ok i shaved off the door handles and locks so its all smooth and the way i got in was with the remote door poppers which got its power from the car so no power no popper

you can put a cable under the trunk to open the trunk. or you could put remont battery post under the car somewhere. The all you need is some jumper cable to get juice to the doors.

Just kinda curious as to which window you broke out and if you've got a price estimate on it yet. Also I'm gussin the rear hatch lock is still there..
 Do you have any pictures posted online or any that you could send me. I'm intrested in seeing a shaved 3rd gen camaro. See if maybe it would be something I'd consider for mine. Anyways take it easy.. And never forget to look behind the license plate lol.. Panther

You can hide a cable some place under the car that will pop the latch in case you run into this again. Put one for the trunk and one for the passenger side door. Just treat them like your P.I.N. on your ATM card, Dont tell anyone!!
I saw a guy at a show once that broke out his window to get in and I kinda winged. I knew the guy who built the car and I looked under it and saw the safty wire. I mentioned it to the owner and I got a look that was blanker than a sheet of paper. It seems he forgot all about the popper. He had to replace a window on a Nash American!

no it just popes them open its not like a actuator or anything

Could you have used jump cables, jack the car up and connect the positive cable to the starter? This gives you a hot lead thus by-passing the disconnect switch.
