bank now unquestionably expects to be claimed by any
of his available foreign next of kin or alternatively
be donated to a discredited trust fund for arms and
ammunition at a military war college here in
Nigeria. Fervent valuable efforts are being made by
the Bank to get in touch with any of the Creek family
or relatives but all have proved to no avail. It is
because of the perceived possibility of not going to
be able to locate any of late Engr. Johnson Creek's
next of kin (he had no known wife and children) that

and your company, then kindly get to me immediately

They tend to get annoying after a while, don't they?. I usually get one per week in my work email, and either delete them or forward them to legal. (Then it becomes a FIWC problem)
Have you ever taken the time to acually reply back and sound like you are interested just to string them along? I've done it a couple times and then hit 'em up with the ole standard b.s. about this being a DoD interest computer system, international wire fraud, and all that other jazz. (Not that anything will happen, but it's fun to watch them backpedal)
Of course, I also have a habit of telling telemarketers that "I find their voice really sexy, and that I am all alone and they shouldn't be selling vinyl siding, they should be working at 976-hotchat because they are driving me crazy with the sultry sound of their voice."

does that really work?
I got a little freaked when it backfired once though. My wife was rolling on the floor beside me, but the guy that called once trying to sell me a left handed smoke shifter figured it out and started playing along.
I would e-mail him back and tell him you do your own deposit's so if he would mail you a check you'll be more than happy to deposit it.
And take your 20% off the top.
If he returns you e-mail. then make up a account number at a bank. then have him mail you the checks at a post office box.
My usual reply is "I am Abdul Mohamed Abdul Abdul. Send me $5,000,000,000 now."
