Today at 5PM. This is for the job at the DQ that i quit my previous job(the golf caddy) for. Many thanks to my brother for helping me out and putting a good word in for me. Wish me luck!

Working in the service industries is good experience.....Just don't make a career of it....minimum wage just doesn't cut it.

Yea, but as far as Uncle Sam is concerned, you can only legally make $7k a year before taxes are taken out. I wouldn't think long term on that one if I were you.

HRK, that's awesome man. The fun part about changing jobs/positions, is the experience. Just don't take customer's BS to heart. Be respectful, but when a problem is out of your hands and you're blamed for it, just remember their just words.

Now go make some MONEY!!!!!!

law of nature: act excited as hell to be there: get a job; act like you care less, you're done.

I got it!!! I start Wednesday cookin' hotdogs and cleanin' the parking lot! Laws in Minnesota make it so you can only work until 9PM if your under 16 so I'll be making 5.50 an Hour.....that means about 100 bucks a week at my current hours without taxes. He also said about every 5 1/2 months he gives a 15c. raise. Weekends 50c. more an hour. My brother who has been working there for 4 years gets about $8 an hour.

Bring on the wheels!!!

Weimer, you sly dog, you.....:mwink
Congrats HRK. Best of luck with the new job. $100 a week doesn't sound like much, but it's a lot more than nuthin' a week. Besides, everyone has to start somewhere.

Chickie.

HRK, learn the business, learn how to treat people and how you want to be treated as a worker. Just think, wouldn't it be nice to own a DQ?

Have fun on the job. Keep a smile on your face and don't eat your profits.
