i got the upgrade 4L60e sunshell, but no thrust washer....

I went to install my new sunshell and found out that there was no new thrust washer for it.

I cant return the part, no return policy Bla Bla,bla...

What can i do now.

The washer kit came with a black plastic washer with 4 tab that is a bit undersized, but this is for the OEM not the beast.

how important is this beast sunshell thrust washer? can i get it separately for somewhere?

Hi
Call monster transmission 800 708 0087 & ask for one.
Are you sure the black plastic washer isn't the correct one,
That's the description of the washer that's supposed to be the replacement.
Rich

thanks for that Richard

The black plastic washer i have in pack has four vertical tabs that seat between the tabs on the roller race of the low and reverse clutch, not the 3 round tabs on the thrust washer for the beast.

I was thinking of cutting the tabs of and sanding back the center of the 4 tab OEM plastic thrust washer, as a last alternative.

Is this washer so important?

Correct thrust washer must be used... do not use the original washer too, only 1 washer is used
