What is the best set up to run 13s? The more opinions the better.

A mild hyd cam, headers, a good aluminum intake and pocket ported/port matched heads and you should be there. Aftermarket or GT-40 heads if you can afford them. A little more gear, such as 4.11's would be helpfull with the 4 speed.

It doesn't hurt for the header flange to be larger than the port. Those heads can use a full port job but it takes so much time that new heads are cheaper unless you're porting them yourself. That's a hero or zero move. If you're experienced in porting go for it. If you have the time. If this is your first set get some one to donate a cracked set of heads any engine and try them first.
