Front fenders on a 73 are different to accommodate the 5 MPH bumper.

Explain just exactly where the difference is then.
The grill will still work and you can switch the complete doghouse out and be fine, the fenders on the 73 were enlarged somewhat to aid in the safety bumper/5 mile hr bumper. The recess aera where the bumper sit's is slightly different. that's all the difference i know about and some of the mounting brackets might be allittle different also for the new style bumper. but all this can be made to work seen it done ex-specially if you have a complete car sitting there to work from. JMO
But TommyK if you know something we don't then please share it with us . The one thing i don't want to do is give someone the wrong info if i can help it anyway.

As far as the bumper goes for you to use a bumper off a 73 you will need fenders from a 73 also to work properly. JMO but IMO i would want a bumper from a 71/72 on my car due to the size change in the bumpers in 73. JMO
With this being said to the "OP" yes you can use the grill from the 73 , but you will need a bumper from a 71 or 72 for your car, and to use a 73 bumper and for it to fit properly you will need 73 fenders also along with the bumper.JMO
