I have a C-2 that came with a 350

I don't know squat about transmissions. It came with a motor that was out of a 1980 blazer or van supposedly.

Inside the bell the numbers 6260233 are stamped, and also the numbers GM39 are stamped seperately but also inside the bell.

I'd like to know if this is a good transmission for a moderate street motor.

I'd like to put it behind the same 350 it came with, but now the 350 is getting a cam, intake, carb, and heads. 300+ (probably a good deal plus) HP in this motor.

Is this a 4 speed auto transmission? Overdrive?

Decent for a daily driver with some good showoff power in a 63 Bel Air Wagon?

It'd be great if you could tell me if it would bolt into a 63 Wagon without modification to car or trans.

Thanks in advance.

You can either look in my transmission identification sticky post at the top of this forum, or if possible take a picture of it for us to go by.

The information you gave us is inconclusive so far.
