With a tear in my eye at the NSRA Nationals last weekend I watched the new owner of my Pro-Street 41 Coupe disappear into the sunset with my car.

Spent 6 years building that car and although I felt like a piece of my sole was torn away when it left I had to smile when I looked down at the check in my hand with all those zeros on it. :)

The good news is that now I have enough cash to completely finish my Hemi powered Chevy pickup project and probably enough left over to rebuild the Hemi for my Deuce 3 window. Ye-Haw! :mwink:

Jon, I sent you a new custom avatar so when time allows please change it for me.

Thanks

Thanks for posting the big picture. I never saw the ghost flames in the avatar. I might be going through the same thing in an attempt to create room and money for a location change.
Sweet goodbye dearest 41 Rod. Now on to the next project for ya!

We were behind the big building along the fence parked next to a friends 1934 DeSoto Airflow. That car is 1 of only 6 two-doors known to exist and will probably find its way into one or more mags soon.

Best way to see all the cars is to park a chair up by the main entrance about 6:00 AM and watch the parade of cars enter the fairgrounds. It takes about 3 hours for 11,000 cars to get in even with three or four lanes open.

Sorry we missed ya.
