I have my engine almost done

I almost got my 1997 vortec 350 done which was a core engine from the the junkyard.I want to take away the yoyo's tools whom put this engine together.I took it apart, found #3 rod loose and one of the rod cap nuts ready to come loose with oversize bearings on the #3 rod.The machine shop I go to told me the bad news on the crankshaft including #3 rod,no good and #3 journal was out of specs. The #3 rod was out of specs too.I did get lucky and saved money on the crankshaft including the #3 rod.I have a vortec 350 out of a 1996 Chevy truck that the headgaskets went out of and knew the bottom end was good.I pulled the crankshaft out of that one including the #3 rod which are both good.It is almost done, going to finish it up hopefully Friday night, putting on the RDS heads I bought from a good customer of mine and the Carburated intake on it.Dropping it in a 1934 Ford street rod which my 10 year old son Alexander and I are building together.

The crank out of the 1996 Block including the rods are balanced. The crank was done too,.010 removed on the rod and mains.Figured out the yoyo whom put this engine together wanted to saved money reusing the crank which was junk.I don't cut corners and do it right the first time.I am using the ARP headbolts and use ARP since they torque down right away.Used ARP on the main caps too,I did use the lube on them.
