I have a question about ford f150

hi, i just have a question about a 1980 Ford F-150, i was thinking about installing a Wooden Truck bed, but i'am a little worried about the weight, and if it would make the truck look like crap, you know i don't want to be driving a **** mobile around, so if you can help please do.. also if you could give some tips on Wood Shining Products it would be helpful.

Thanks Alot

For great looking wood truck floors try mar-k.com/. Those guys have a great catalog with some really good looking wood. For a real show look go with stainless steel strips and bolts. I just went back stock with mine and used painted strips with pressure treated southern pine.

I take it, you have the "Fleetside" bed, that has a steel floor now. To put a wooden bed in it, you either have to switch to a stepside (easy solution) or cut the floor out of your bed (pain in the *** solution)

Cutting out your floor would be a major undertaking. I also think it would look like crap, as you say. I don't suggest it. If you want to have a wooden bed, switch the box to a stepside.
