I have to rebuild, will this get me close to 400 hp

I'm sure you experts here get tired of these posts but after hours of research online it seems nobody has actual experience or real data to back up opinions.

I was going to build a motor to run a weiand 144 for my 350 but squeaking rod has changed my mind and I decided against using the blower. Here is what I am thinking of instead.

Eagle Specialty Products rotating assembly w/hypereutectic pistons .30 over, CompCam kit 249-K12-210-2, sportsman II 64cc heads or new set of vortecs if they will make the power, roller rockers, air gap intake, holley 770 street avenger carb.

Any suggestions?

Here is a easier 400hp+ combo.
Build a 355ci flat top piston motor
prepare the block so that the piston deck clearance is 0 {"0 decked"}
Add Edelbrock Etec 170 64cc chamber cylinder heads
Edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake manifold (Vortec).
Comp cams XE274H-10 cam
long tube 1-5/8" headers.
This is a popular simple combo that works well.
Thanks for the quick response, I was hoping not to have to spend that much on heads (I know hp = $$) the extra $500 is going to be a little over my budget.

The Etec's are nice, but there's better heads for that kind of money. I would look around at some onlie auctions or classifieds, you want around a 190cc intake rummer and a 64cc chamber. Aluminum is prefered, but either material will do. Machined chambers, not rough as cast finish.

Here are 108 small block chevy combinations. Go through them, pick the one you like and purchase the components shown....
