Post I installed my shift kit finally

I bought a TH350 To go into my 84 Z28, i bought a B&M Transpack for it, never got around to put it in until just the other day. Im surprised it was very easy, i installed the street&strip one. Im just glad the Tranny was out of the car lol, had to replaces some springs, and take out 3 out of the 4 check balls, put on 2 plates and thats it. Ive got 1 question, if i floor the gas, when the tranny shifts from 1 to 2, will it bark the tires or leave marks? I heard that it will, My motor is a 350, accualy 355 (bored .30 over) ive got headers and 1 sized bigger cam ( i dont know the specs Thanks all

Yeah, I put mine in when the tranny was out, took about an hour overall. So easy. I just wish I could have driven it before to compare before and aft.

Yes, auto trannys look totally intimidating at first until you realize you rarely need to fool with that valve body. Once you realize that, they are really quite simple. Just follow one of the many cook book repair directions and it is hard to go wrong.
