I just bought my Son a 82 Trans Am !

I just bought my Son a 82 Trans Am for $350. Yea I know what your thinking it has to be a piece of junk. No far from it all it needs is a motor and paint. and maybe some cleaning up. Found some "special" pipes in it plus a D cup in the back seat. may have to steam clean that area.
My Son is getting his learners this week. God help me!

The boys first car is fun to be a part of. I have to show them how to build on a budget and do their own paint, body, and mechanical work and be proud they can do any of it. We don't build show but we sure as heck build go. No juice or blowers, can't afford the repairs and the boys friends are trying to build their own with the help from my boys. A lot of the dads don't know how the dwrench and won't spend their dime for their boys rides. I do what I can but the boys have to spend their hard earned and get dirty too.

It must be nice to have a cool dad like you! I didn't, I do have an older bro, but he learns everything from me. It's kind of sad..lol

Thanks Guys. He was grinning from ear to ear. I guess I was too!
It has a T-top which he really likes, and it's already been primed. The body looks pretty straight. some sanding and it'll be ready for paint. There's some work to be done but that makes it even cooler because we can spend time together and he can learn more about his car. He's taking auto mechanics AND auto paint & body when school starts back so maybe I can learn something from him too. I'll try to put some pics up soon.

Rodrunner, havn't forgotten about'cha, still have the art and still drawing on it, but I've been up to my neck in new business stuff. Now since your son has a Trans Am you might want one of my hood birds, let me know, it could be 100% original.

I hope your son gets his permit, the DMV here I had to wait 7 hours when I got my permit. Thats a great job on finding the car to, I wish my parents got me a sports car like that.
