That is sweet, your gonna have a blast. My question is, would you leave the engine be, or go through it and check everything?

Nice looking start, Frisco. Looking foreward to seeing it up close and personal. Are you going to stay with the 32 grill shell or find a 31? I have a tow dolly if you need one to pick it up.

I plan to do a partial tear down to check it out. The engine and trans are supposedly rebuilt and have not been run. I don't know much about it yet.

I am looking forward to this project.

I like the '32 shell & grill and will keep it. I sent you a PM also. I know that I will need a new deck lid as the one in the photos is not in good condition.

I'm excited about this project.

Congrats Frisco. Looks to me like a fun project, but I thought it looked like it was too far built up for you. I mean, the engine and trans are in it already. So where's the challenge? Have fun and keep the pics coming.

Cool car, good deal! A lot of work, this car is about where my 36 is at, I figure about 1/2 way. Good luck, can't wait to see the project journal. Dan

Picked up the coupe yesterday and arrived home around 8:00 PM. Will be sorting thru the boxes of parts that came with it to see what else I've got. The trip home was uneventful and the coupe (even though unfinished) looked great on the trailer.

More to come as I get into this project.

Thanks to all!!!

Frisco, thats a really cool project. Are you going to keep the frame and motor yellow, and paint the body to match the truck?

I like the yellow (see my old truck); but it shows dirt very easy.

I'll have to give a lot of thought on the color before deciding.
