I just quit my job

Went to work to find that more tools were missing. Gathered what remained and walked out. I've had the same paint gun for five years. I've seen guys throw away up to 3 guns a day, calling them junk. I value my tools. They make my livelihood as well as keep my vehicles running. It was my birthday yesterday, I spent the day working on a friends brakes, in the rain, in forty degree weather. He bought the beer. Sometimes turning a wrench isn't about the money. It's about friendship. That's why I quit my job. If I was only motivated by money I couldn't live with myself.

Welcome! Yep, working somewhere that tools end up missing is the craps. I have experienced it, had a guy at the shop that the minute he started things started missing, the piece of GARBAGE. I was proud to have had a part in him leaving a year later. But what a year!
