Great, a lightning strike just took out our main TV and I'm stuck watching the race on a 13" job from 20 feet away. Well, after the race we're off to Wally World for a new flat screen model.

Till then, anybody got a magnifying glass I can borrow?

I am watching Disney on our big screen. Dang it.
Sony makes a damn good TV,nice piece you have there.
Nothing like a wide screen for sports programming.

The Japanese Gran Prix looked good in mine. 52" but not wide screen.

Nice tv, I'm a bit jeolous. I sure would like to see Rusty win the whole thing but it ain't looking too good. Nice to see Martin win, guess he can still get it up when he needs too! Hopefully Stewart can put one in the wall to make this thing interesting.

A couple of months ago, yes. My buddies wife works in the layaway at Wallymart, someone backs out of a 52" RCA widescreen, hdtv, new models were coming out, picked it up for $550, new in the box. Watched the NHRA drags tonight, my boy Greg put it on them again, prostock, John Force picked one up, it's been a long time for him. The only problem with the surround sound and the drags, my wife won't let me crank it up. Ok, Dear.. Dan

Nice tv, not really jealous. I got other things I want to buy more then a bigger tv once I get caught back up. Never guess who I am rooting for to win the chase? but he has some catching up to do. Came on kind of late in the year, but if Kenseth doesn't win, its not a biggie since he already has a championship and is still young. I heard a rumor about Kenseth driving for dei in the future. Never know.

I'm rooting for Kenseth too but right now if I was betting man my money would be on Stewart. But Kenseth has a talent for coming from behind when everybody has written him off. However the Roushketeers are getting too racy with each other. I agree with not letting each other lead a lap and giving away points (especially when it's Kurt Busch) but they need to keep the team concept in mind when they are fighting each other for a position and let somebody else slip by them. I had heard the DEI rumor too and would love to see Matt back in a Chevy but I think he's sticking with Roush in spite of the Jamie McMurray deal. They seem to be giving each other plenty of room on the track so maybe they have decided to put their differences aside. I had also heard rumors that he had been approached by Joe Gibbs. He'd be a natural for their team, he gets along with Bobby and Tony very well. I can't see him going anywhere without Robbie Reiser though but then again nothing lasts forever.

What happens when team are limited to size? Isn't it 4 teams next year, 3 the year after? I think it should be 2 teams, myself, there's got to be a lot of frustration from the lesser dollar teams. Also, I wonder how many of these teams will try to brother-in-law around the team rule. Dan

There's already a limit on how many cars one owner can have now, that's why Mark Martin is technically Matt Kenseth's car "owner", Jeff Gordon is technically Jimmie Johnson's car "owner" and so on. We all know it's just on paper and so does NASCAR. Personally I think there needs to be a limit but they'll find a way around it. I'm sure there will be "satellite" teams of some sort kind of like Roush and the Wood Bros., and the old relationship between RCR and Dave Marcis. Dave was an independent but he got a lot of help from RCR and Dale Earnhardt and did a lot of testing for them. It will get real interesting when Toyota is ready to expand their NASCAR involvement to the cars, they are already working on a package to present to NASCAR for approval.
