Thumbs up I like this site, I think I'll stay.

I have been reading for only about 30min and have found that this site is very helpful in sharing information, alot of good attitudes overall without all the immature BS, I like it.

Just a few questions though...

Is it normal to not be able to post pics of your car in your signature?

Is it normal for there to be 100 something pages of topics to choose from.

And My sig doesn't seem to show up, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks, and forgive me for being a newbie.

OT I like the smilies options they are very .

Caprice, first off welcome, glad you decided to stay.

To post a picture or avatar by your name like my iron cross and logo just send the picture you want to Avatars@hotrodders.com.

Secondly yes, the multiple pages are the past posts in each section. No knowledge is lost here. So if you have a question be sure to look back through the pages in that section, or you can use the search feature. There is also a section in the Knowledge base for each area that has compiled frequently asked questions and tech information along with how to's.

Signatures have been disabled do to misuse.

Have fun, good information as well as people found here.

Caprice evidently you did not read far enough to get to the core of this GREAT SITE, because there is more BULLSHOT here than you can shake off your boots in a week. We have a lot of fun, have lots laughs and enjoy each others company. We also share valuable information. What is your project?
Mine is a 48 Chevy fleetline Aerosedan. Got a long way to go but maybe it won't take too long to get "On the road again". There I go singing again.

Welcome caprice. You'll absolutely love it here. You'd be amazed at what goes on here. I've been here for over a year and hovered around outside a good while before walking in and taking a seat with the rest of the gang. But BEWARE (see site addiction thread). It can be habit forming see surgeon generals warning on side of pack. We do it all here. We laugh, cry, support each other, ***** at each other, pick on each other, go cruising, go motorcycling entertain guests across the pond and. We sing, we dance, we diagnose car and personel problems, share a laugh or two and then to have a really good time BigBlockBabe even throws a virtual party now and then. Who could ask for more? Glad to have you. Now pull up a chair and tell me your deepest darkest secrets (snicker). I won't tell a soul, honest. Pssssssst ok HalloweenKing roll tape I've got him hooked.

Thanks all for the kind words.

great 48 and 78 monte: Yes, shortly after posting this I did check out the dump. I then proceeded onto the 40,000 iraquis joke, Boy I was like maybe I should edit the part in my introductory post about no BS there was alot of .

But its ok I am used to the internet and that stuff seems to happen more often than not. So I ain't scared off and I will still stick around.

My "project" is my wagonThe link to my car.

4 door joe: Currently the cowl is all show but I don't intend it to stay that way for too long. If the link works I have basically all the info on my car on the site but since we all now how reliable car/sounddomain is.... This is a pic from the side of my cowl hood. It was made by a freind of mine at a body shop. It came from GOODMARK hoods in lawerencville GA, and was cut up and 40/40ed to the hood. It was for a late 60s-70s c10 chevy truck (or so I was told) but I bought it damaged for $40.

38 special: Oh believe me I know how addicting these sites get, this is only one of about 4-5 sites that I frequent. I don't have too many deep dark secrets, but if any come to mind I'll post em

Kit car: I haven't been further north than north carolina so the chances of me making it to canada are slim to non existant . If I go on vacation it is usually to a very warm place with atleast one beach. But if for some reason I ever end up going to canada I let ya know.

Halloweenking I did notice you participated in almost all the posts I read, glad to meet your aquatance, and Are you one of the moderators?

thanks for ALL the replies and making me feel welcome.

Is there anyway to size down that image in the corner of all my post responses?

I was under the impression that it would be sized down automatically.

Not that I mind being the only person with a good size pic of their car in ever single post, actually I am honored (I guess I found my way around the lack of sig pics huh!)

But its not fair to everyone else.
