I`m new, got a question, and glad to meet you
Hello, I`m a new boot here. I have a 55 chevy Show truck, I built from ground up, except for the interior , can`t stitch. Put a vette tunedport lt1 350 with 700 r4 trans & camaro 373 posi in it. I`m now building my wife a 33 3window coupe, chopped top, outlaw body. Almost finished" if you ever finish " no what i mean? I have to do a little body work & paint it & also install air in it . I have a 57 chevy car ,vintage air unite. It will not go under the tiny 33 dash, so I installed it behind the bucket seats, under the rear glass. Lot of dead space there. I will make a cover ,to hide it, an use the same material the interior is done in ,to cover that. I have a friend that goes to shows with me. He told me to put the embossed flames & stuff on the cover. make it look fancey. I had that done to my door panels & in the headliner. but I did not get a chance to watch the guy do it. Can anyone give me a ideal how its done? A fellow told me a way to do it , sounds like it would work. I would like input from some one else, might be a easy & better way. If you can help me with this, I`ll be thanking you. I `m dieing to try this! I have come to this site & read about projects you guys have going, and I Love it. Well , glad to meat all you guys, and be looking forward for your input. I`m 60 yrs old & I`ve had hotrods all my life, guess I never got over it, an looks like I never will. I`m a Machinist by trade, but i love the rods. Thanks again!!
