I need to get a life....

All I do is laze around when I could be working on my project. I have so many things started yet here I sit, goofing off on the computer again. Going through thread and waiting to see who said what to whatever....I should get off my duff and make some noise. Well maybe tomorrow. Maybe I'm burnt out or its the winter blahs.

If it makes you feel any better my project sits 225 miles from me and it was a beautiful day out today but all I can do is sit in my dorm room on HR.com

I've been that way all winter. I was working on the phantom rpu body outside til it got too cold. But this warm weather has me getting interested again. Yesterday I started on my 69 Ford crewcab and today got most of the power steering conversion done, including cleaning and painting every part. It was fun but I don't enjoy being greasy near as much as I used to. And then I lay under that slimey old 390 with oil leaking down from the intake thinking I am planning on pulling this engine for a rebuild. Not something I am looking foreward to. I think I will hire some kid to pull it out for me.

I have no excuse...my projects in the garage about 30' away from my computer. The garage is heated and equiped with good lighting, tools, beer/pop fridge and a "new to me compressor" so I can finally use my air tools again. But there I sit. (I'm at work now so there's an excuse)
Part of the problem is by the time the kids go to bed I have little time to dig in. I don't want to make tons of noise plus I also always do a 1hr "fire watch" after any welding or grinding seeing as the closest fire dept (vounteer) has a response time of around 20mins, and my garage is attached to my house....I shouldn't complain I guess, but I find it hard to be motovated to work under small time slots. Yeah, I know...I'll quit my complaining now.

Every time I get enough money saved up to start doing the work my Camaro needs, I get laid off and have to use the $$ to pay regular bills. I've lost three jobs in three years, and no, I wasn't fired from any of them, so it's never my own GD fault. Just bad luck, I guess, so my poor Camaro, much in need of a new interior and other cosmetics and some electrical work, sits there under the trees while one guy after another keeps coming around to ask if it's for sale.

I have the same problem with doing work for my college classes, it seems to come last in the order of Cars/Work/Social Life/HR.com./school. I just put papers/speeches/studying off until the last minute, but if you saw my grades you would think school was my top priority so I'm just going to keep doing what I do.

None for this cat. Dope is for kids....I did in my younger years, but then grew up and moved on....Just a bit of a slump I guess....I'm planning on scramming home early today....heading right for the garage.
