if you dont have any wires there you will have to run your own. the box that the cd player came with should have the wiring connections in a diagram just run what you need you should have an empty acc. clip at the fuse box for power and you will need to run a pos. and neg. wire for each speaker plus a ground wire.

Cd Wires

[size=3] Doc here

You Will need to Establish the following:

FOR POWER:
  • 12 Volts switched From Acc side of the Fuse buss, and appropriate fuse size.
  • 12 volts constant (hot at battery) For memory Presets, and appropriate fuse.
  • Hard Ground, either Body, frame or battery.
  • Power Antenna wire (or Remote amp power ) and appropriate fuse.

FOR AUDIO:
  • Run your wires (preferably monster wires to cut RFI) To the rear right and left. These will hook up to your wires either marked SPK R + and SPK- or colors Purple and Green (on standard after market harnesses) BE SURE you have the +'s and -'s on the right terminals and DO NOT use the Body for Speaker Ground! You'll blow your system up!
  • Next run your wires for the front Left and right, usual colors are White and Gray...Same as above applies here too...

Route your wires carefully,use ties and adel clamps, DO NOT bundle Power and Audio wires together, It' ll sound like Crap in a can.. Use Butt splices (not tape and twist'em up...technology...) Ring and Slide terminals for power and grounds, Double check your connections before applying power ... and you should have a system that will play good for years...

Hope it helps!

Doc
