Hello,
This is all in regards to my 1981 Chevy C10 2wd
I bought a 195hp base SBC 350 engine from Summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-10067353
I installed a Melling MTC-1 cam and springs, Edelbrock intake and Hedman headers.
I followed the 20 minute break in procedure.
I am having a "squeaking"-type of noise that I can hear best from behind the front tires. Seems especially loud at the flex plate. I have replaced the flex plate 3 times, the last time using a TCI flex plate.
It's not anything with the v-belts, I ran it with them all off, still have the same sound.
It's not the torque converter. I have run it with the transmission unbolted with the same sound.
I took it to a shop and they said it was the flex plate.
Here is a video from underneath the truck. I would really appreciate any help, I have googled to the end of the internet and I am out of ideas.
