I need help identifying my crate 350. anyone help?

I went to a few sites and could not find the same or a similar engine code that was on mine.
its 346240 with a 5 directly under it and GM beside it.
also there are some numbers that from what i could tell are c 1137.
it does have an egi manifold if that helps.
Thanks

Is that the casting number?(because I cant seem to find it). What more can you tell me/us about this engine? did you buy it new? is a aftermarket engine or a GM made engine?

ya i guess it must be the casting numbers.
it came in the 61 apache i bought a month or two ago. the guy i bought it from didnt have a clue about anything on it.
its definitely a aftermarket engine with what seems to be a 300 turbo trans.
im pretty sure that its GM made because of the letters by the casting number.
and thats about all i know about it.
thanks

346240 doesn't compute.

The C= March
13= 13th day of the month

7= a year ending in 7, i.e. '57, '67, '77, etc.

The casting number you need (if its a SBC) is on the driver side top rear of the block. The suffix is passenger side front where the head and block meet.
