i need help with my 700r4

i need to know why my 700r4 trany is not shifting in to drive or revers it dont shift at all

Give some more Info.
Trans mileage?, Rebuilt? Fluid color/smell? etc..

the trany only has abut 3,000 miles on it and is not rebuilt trany fluied is red and it was working fine then all the sudden it started to reave really high and i was slowing down while it was reaving

so, you have a 700r4 or a 4l60E? 3k miles on a non rebuilt 700r4 sounds suspect. More background please.

easy item to check is the TV cable. If the TV cable end was disconnected , the transmittin would shift late like the throttle was Wide open
